I’ve been shooting a lot of seascapes lately and feel that I need to interrupt this constant flow of “rocks in the water” images with something dry. The image I chose for the new calendar wallpaper presents an iconic view of the Flinders Ranges (South Australia) – Bunyeroo Valley from Razorback Lookout.
If you are interested to learn more about Flinders Ranges, a good way to start is to read my “Flinders Ranges: Highlights“Â article in the travel section of my website.

No matter what – weather conditions, light, tide or swell, one of the prime locations for Sydney photographers, Turimetta Beach always provides an opportunity to make a great seascape photograph. I’ve been shooting there several times already and no doubt will come again. I hope you’ll enjoy this latest addition to my wallpaper collection!

This image of Killick Beach, located near Crescent Head, NSW, Australia is my second most popular photograph for May 2011. I wasn’t planning to shoot this particular view – I was going there for another spot, located couple hundred meters away. I had a specific image in mind, which, thanks to a heavy rain, I even hadn’t attempted to capture. Anyway, I’m happy with the result and I guess this will be another proof that the best results often come from unexpected places and are almost always unplanned.
This time I decided not to limit myself to 12 calendars and updated all previously posted wallpapers – 21 desktop wallpapers with fresh calendar are available for download here:Â Free Desktop Wallpaper Calendars.
