No matter what – weather conditions, light, tide or swell, one of the prime locations for Sydney photographers, Turimetta Beach always provides an opportunity to make a great seascape photograph. I’ve been shooting there several times already and no doubt will come again. I hope you’ll enjoy this latest addition to my wallpaper collection!

The latest addition to my wallpaper collection features Lake Albina – one of the six glacial lakes in Australia. As its’ neighbour Lake Cootapatamba, it is located in Australian Alps, near the highest Australian peak – Mt. Kosciuszko (2228 metres). I suspect that it is completely covered by snow now, a sight I’d really like to see …

This image of Killick Beach, located near Crescent Head, NSW, Australia is my second most popular photograph for May 2011. I wasn’t planning to shoot this particular view – I was going there for another spot, located couple hundred meters away. I had a specific image in mind, which, thanks to a heavy rain, I even hadn’t attempted to capture. Anyway, I’m happy with the result and I guess this will be another proof that the best results often come from unexpected places and are almost always unplanned.
This time I decided not to limit myself to 12 calendars and updated all previously posted wallpapers – 21 desktop wallpapers with fresh calendar are available for download here:Â Free Desktop Wallpaper Calendars.

As usual on 25th of every month, I’m happy to let you know that there is an addition to my free desktop wallpaper collection. This time it is an image from Bryce Canyon National Park (Utah), which I visited almost 2 years ago. Magnificent place! I remember, I was ready to spend days and nights roaming among those rock formations, also known as hoodoos.
I am sure it will not be a surprise for my regular readers that this and older wallpapers with updated calendar are available for download here: Free Desktop Wallpaper Calendars.
Over 100 images form my portfolio are also available as high resolution wallpapers for Android devices. I made this photograph about 3 years ago during the trip to the Great Barrier Reef, Port Douglas, since then I’ve seen only a handful of sunsets that were at least as dramatic as this one. I’ve just found that there is another scenic event coming up to Port Douglas, even more dramatic than this sunset – total solar eclipse at 6:38 am on November 14, 2012. I think I know where I’m going to be on that date.
